This painting was the very 1st one that Bob created for his news letter “Brush Strokes”. Recently, Nic Hankins, Doug Hallgren and Carolyn Saletto have resurrected the news letter in a series of painting video tutorials that were featured every month in Brush Strokes.
Nic teaches us how to paint this little gem in a 50 minutes tutorial. The way he teaches in this tutorial is pretty much the same way he teaches us at the workshop. He will take the time to go over the 2” brush technique to create that beautiful foliage, bushes and grass.

Thank you Titia! You totally should. As an aspiring CRI, it will def help you solidify Bob’s technique. I know you don’t really need any tutorials, but when you’ll teach classes that you advertise as a Bob Ross’s, you have to stick to his way of painting only.
