This one is a real treat for the eyes. We have a lot of beautiful Floridian sunrises & sunsets in the summer like in this painting. In the winter, since the humidity is not as saturated in the atmosphere, we donβt get those spectacular colors in the sky as much.
The sky was rather tricky to make. Watching Nic, I thought it would be an easy thing. Well, it took me a few more brush strokes (and minutes) to have a decent sunrise. π
Also, my rolling hills are rather very bubbly 𫧠. I always forget not to down scale to the exact 4-quadrant-grid I do to put the different elements in the compo. What I mean by that is that an 18x24β is not proportional to a 16x20β or an 11x14β(canvas that I used for this painting). The image gets βcompressedβ because is this issue. I keep forgetting and I get funky results by the end like my little hills. π€
