Eduard Khil (1934 – 2012) was a Russian singer and composer known for his expressive vocal style and distinctive voice. He gained widespread popularity in the 1970s with his performances in the genres of pop and light music.
His most notable international fame came from a video featuring his rendition of the song "I Am Glad, 'Cause I'm Finally Returning Back Home" (Russian: "Я о́чень рад, ведь я, наконе́ц, возвраща́юсь домо́й"), often humorously referred to as the "Trololo Song", which later became a internet meme.
