I had extra time this week so I snuck in another painting. I originally had something else planned but changed direction and went with this one. This was a Nick Hankins one from the 32nd Joy of Painting series. When I first started painting BR paintings I always liked the bright ones. And this one certainly would brighten up a dull room π
Beautiful work, I love those cattails up front and center βοΈ
Very nice and colorful version of this episode (but wasn't it a sunsΓ©t?) I also did this one some time ago.
Nice one Matt!
Beautiful work!
Gorgeous!
Love the color blends and reflections. I like the tree work also. Well done
Your work is always beautifully vibrant, its what gives you your distinctive style. Great sky. I also love the foreground in this one with its little bursts of foliage and dirt areas. I have a penchant for a good foreground these days, mine are always a bit lack lustre as I'm usually tired by that point but I always want to see it through to the end even though my shoulder is killing me.
Thanks much Dirk
Thanks Brian. Yea I like the cattails. Gives it a little more than just plain grass
Thanks Jos! The books calls it Lakside Sunrise
Thank you Nancy.
Thanks Sandy
Thank you Kerri!
Thank you Don!
Thank you TLP! This one was definitely made more interesting with the cattails and the dirk amongst the bushes
Very nice!
Thank you Stephanie
