Campfire Under the Northern Lights

I was waiting for more white canvases to arrive and had one black one left so here's how I used it. I didn't have any more black gesso BR paintings to do so I thought I'd use it for Bob's birthday submission. I wanted to do something with the Northern Lights since Bob spent so many years in Alaska. However I didn't feel like a mountain so did this instead.

Thanks Jeff. I kind of used Bobs technique he used in “Campfire”. Put crimson on the black gesso and then hit it with cad yellow

Really nice, never been lucky enough to see the northern lights as they don't reach this far down the UK, those look magical.
