This is another tutorial by JMLisondra. I thought it was the perfect companion piece to the other one of his that I painted earlier this week. I think it turned out beautifully. And he taught me how to do mountain mist and northern lights with acrylic paint! Bonus!
Very pretty! And a perfect cabin!
Terrific! Ditto what Pietro and Matt said!
Thank you everyone! I'm really proud of this one! βΊοΈ
This is really nice. REALLY nice. I wish my cabins were half as good as this one. Wow.
I mean, you even have a little bit of moonlight spilling over the cabin's peak. Well done.
Wow. Beautiful cabin.
Really pretty and great cabin!
Thanks everyone. I can't take the entire credit for this work. I have decent skill, but John Lisondra on YouTube has an amazing teaching style that encourages learning artists like me to succeed. He taught this using only 5 colours (white, blue, red, yellow and brown) and only 3 brushes. He explains every sketch, every mix, every brush and spends time on explaining every detail. If you ever want to try out acrylics, his videos are an excellent place to start.
Can I live there please, away from the media and war. Lovely job π
Novel - wouldn't that be a great trick! I'd definitely jump into this painting and chill for awhile if I could.
