The final rendering of chicken. Darkened the background by glazing on some phathlo blue so she stands out more and fixed the coloring so she looks closer to the original subject. It took so much longer to fix the color and redo the detailing. I really need to make sure to check the colors before doing detail work next time. Gave the painting to my friend as a surprise to remember his favorite chicken that passed away and he was so thrilled he showed it off to his friends and family. Now I’m getting a request to paint another friends dog who passed away so I guess I will be doing that one soon!
