Having fun with watercolour and learning lots. I made a few mistakes along the way and tried to fix. Having difficulty with the look of snow but I am still liking it.
This is a Peter Sheeler tutorial. I started with a pencil sketch added the watercolour and then details after with ink.
Paper used is cold press 230gsm not expensive but said it was specific for watercolour.
Thank you..it was really fun to do.
Really nice! Love the bird and the snow looks good!
Thankyou .. And thanks for the feedback on the snow... I still have a hard time seeing it as snow...
Love this, the colours on the snow are perfect, the bird is excellent.
Thanks rah. I am very surprised the bird turned out as well as it did.

Thanks @tom0779 for your feedback. i am hoping to get to the craft store this week for better paper. In the meantime I will still plug away with what I have. I have tried the damp brush technique to soften my snow edges and it worked so well. I will try to add an unfinished version to show because I was so happy with the results of the blending away the harsh edge.
