I really enjoyed painting the sky and sunbeams with this one. I love huge trees too, so that was another plus for me :)
Great practice for layering shrubs and highlighting. I knew I had to try this painting because my happy place is in the forest and the colors drew me right in.
I normally like to take my time with my paintings and split them over a few days, but I had to finish this in one sitting as it was with an art class with a CRI. I found that when my time was limited (like today), I fussed less with trying to fix little things and was happy just leaving it be.
