I went to see this castle located in Bavaria when I was visiting Switzerland for some bike riding a few years ago. Rumor has it, this castle was the very castle that inspired the Disney icon castle. Most interesting part was how unfinished yet beautiful it was. Anyway, painting photographs tends to have so many challenges but alas, I love the outcome of this one! For sure not identical to the real thing 😂

It does look like a fairy tale so I’m not surprised it inspired Disneys iconic castle. I wonder why it was left unfinished. That must have been some bike ride! It looks like it’s up pretty high - going down must have been fun/scary 😂
