I love the grain elevators here in Buffalo NY. They are beautiful ruins. I have wanted to paint them for a long time and this is one of my favorites. All done with a knife. This is the Cargill grain elevator in the outer harbor of buffalo NY. 16x20" 1.5" deep fancy canvas. Super satisfying to paint and i hope y'all enjoy it!

Such a wonderful abstraction and selection of colors that look very playful for such technical object! Very nicely done!
I am unfamiliar with the grain elevators, but I love this painting. A lot of energy and movement. I like that the building is almost the same colors as the sky and land background, and they are made distinct by the direction of the strokes.
