36x20" Acrylic on MDF. It won first prize at my first real art show! Still hanging in my living room. All palette knife painted, loads of paint used.
Lucas Cryl Pastos paint used for most of it. Iridescent gold on the ground, pearl on the bark. It shines when it catches the light!
This was a lot of fun and so much effort. My largest painting of this kind.
The frame was a trash pick that one of my neighbors tossed out. This is kinda how i do my large works nowadays. I find a frame and paint the size to fit in there.
