Enjoyed this one. Sunset background in grey gesso shaped trees and hills. Tried rocks in the water. Still learning and this one I think was my most enjoyable.
I flip back and forth between the small one and large one. It’s fun to use and I’m getting to be more familiar with what it can do.
look at the tree on the left it's in the shape of the palette knife
Lol I just noticed that. That’s funny
I saw Bob Ross on tv in Australia back in 1979,80 but I didn;t take any notice until I watched The joy of painting on sbs two years ago and only now I decided to start painting, I'm just getting my paints and brushes together. have you got any ideas for me to help me get started? I don't have a easel, I was going to use an old ladder
look at it this way, the palette knife in the tree is wonderful tribute to Bob Ross, it might be your self-conscience way of saying thanks Bob.
I love the colors in this painting! Great job!
Beautiful. Love the misty background evergreens.

I see you included the palette knife in your painting, I wonder how many people noticed it in the tree.
