This one's fresh off the brush.
Wanted to play a little with colors today and I thought I'd do a scene similar to that wide-format evergreen woods I did recently but with birches, my favourite trees to paint. From the first midground tree painted, the one on the left, I felt this one would turn out amazing. And I am so satisfied with the result! I was afraid of the color contrast but it turned out such an eyecatcher to me. Painting this just felt good.
Btw, an update for anyone that asked and is interested: I started writing an article for this site about my wet and wet acrylic method. It will take some time because I rather spend my longer periods of free time painting but I'm on it ποΈ
Very nice work Marc, your scenes are always full of details. That makes you want to discover every single part of the picture.
This is really nice to look at Marc. Lots going on here.
I will be happy to read that article of yours to see what I can apply to my normal acrylics techniques as I cannot even attempt oils at the moment.
That lavender birch tree contrasts so well with the βorangyβ rest of the painting. This one is def catching my eye. I love orange!
CANβT WAIT RO READ YOUR ARTICLE!!! π
Totally forgot to answer you people here! Thank you very much to all of you! Article should not take to long now. I've been working at it a little bit every day :)
