Quick cabin practice I did today. Really need to practice those more, but this little 30x30cm turned out kind cute so i thought I'd share.
By the way: I published my acrylic wet on wet guide here on twoinchbrush: https://www.twoinchbrush.com/articles/painting-wet-on-wet-with-acrylics-an-extensive-guide
I'm gonna post the link in the discription of my next few paintings so people who might be interested are aware.
Have a good one folks ✌🏼
Thanks Dirk!
Another wet-on-wet acrylic person! Love the cabin, i was going to do something similar for practice. That scene just WORKS so well. The path, the sticks. AND THOSE HIGHLIGHTS. This is some Grade-A work. Did you do the ground in burnt sienna?
Thanks a lot! Funnily enough I did not use the method descibed in my article for this one. Water and paint did the job here for that simple background :)
I used a mix of burnt sienna, yellow ochre and white for the background. For the path I added burnt umber to that mix :)
Very nice Marc. The dead trees are my favorite but you did well on the entire piece
LOVELY..GREAT TEXTURES.CHEERS.P
Gorgeous piece Marc! The cabin looks old and rustic. The bushes around look so real!
Really awesome cabin!
Totally forgot to answer you people here!
Thanks a lot to you all!
I really like the dead tree too!
Not mega fond of the cabin but you are right, it's nice in a rustic way.
