A Fall between the Bushes

I was in the mood for a late night painting session on saturday. Usually, though fun, the results of those don't turn out that great since I'm tired and what not but I really like this one! I originally started off with a blueish/greenish grey wet background color and went for a moody forest painting. You can still see the color in the water a bit. Funnily enough, even though I always went for a turquise-like mix for my greenery it came out as such a beautiful and somewhat perfect green that I just went with it and I really like how it turned out in the end!
