Red Rock

ForestVueGallery 09 Jun 2024

Another attempt at red rocks as I read that cerulean blue and venetian red with yellow ochre and titanium white mixes create nice easy mix red rock shades. I was pleased with the color results. Painting rocks is a time consuming exercise in shadow and highlights. 12 x 16 Ampersand hard board panel primed with MH Non Absorbent Acrylic Primer, Michael Harding and Blue Ridge Oils.
