This 6” x 8” tiny oil painted on an 8x10 canvas board is based on a Chuck Black video. I really like his work and look forward to learning his beautiful landscape techniques.
Really beautiful and great details!
Very good work. Never heard about him and will check.
Thank you all. Sunnylady and Tom I trust you found him on YouTube. His paintings are beautiful and he is creating a lot of very detailed videos. You can join for $4 or $8 per month to get full length videos. I painted along with the cropped version on this one before I joined. The Gold level gives you access to many hundreds of high quality photos that you can download and use no strings attached. The photos are stunning landscapes and amazing up close photos of all kinds of wildlife and wildflowers. He lives in Montana.
Thanks a lot for the details!
You’re welcome! There is also a member chat on an app called Discord where you can share info and post your work. He plans to post a lot of these small paintings that will be 8x10’s from here on. I learned so much about color mixing with this, and the small size helped me focus on detail.
What amazes me is he paints with just two brushes. One is the Princeton dagger striper 1/4”, and the Dynasty faux squirrel angle 1/2” and 3/4” brushes.
