This was inspired by a random photo I ran across. It’s painted on a 14 x 18 linen panel with Blue Ridge and Harding oils.

Thank you for the kind comments! Inspiration struck on this one, something I am always looking for. I forgot to get a photo before framing this, but the frame definitely set it off. For anyone in the U.S. interested, this is a Cardinali Plein Aire frame that can be purchased at Jerry's Artarama online. I believe they cut the material and construct the frames themselves as they are very reasonably priced if you buy four at a time and look for them on sale. They are made with light weight high density renewal core whatever that is. There is a bit of a glow to them that looks quite nice in various light. I can place both linen canvas boards and standard stretched canvases in them using 3/8" steel offset clips.
