I live in Kansas where stretches of barbed wire set against a sunset or sunrise are pretty common. Sprang to mind quickly when thinking over something to silhouette against a sunset sky. When trialing a different type of look for a painting I gravitate towards imaging I’m most familiar with.
Thanks a lot for sharing! I'll check photos of Kansas on google now. I have a feel there are a lot of pastures there. From the childhood I know only Ellie was from Kansas and she was carried away by tornado with her little doggy. I think it is time to learn a bit more.
Idea is great about silhouette painting. I think this is very real and scratchy looking!
Sky is great too! it seems that you have purplish undertone even in the bottom part which links all the sky together.

What made you pained barbed wire? If you don’t mind to share. Is it lockdown and non-stop quarantine?
