This is another experiment with the magic black/secluded forest thing. After I did the black and white one I was curious how colors would work in that process so did this one to experiment with that. It was really educational as far as the transparencies of the colors, often it didn't matter how much color I put on until I added some white it would hardly show. In retrospect I think the fog would probably would have looked more natural if I'd used the same cad yellow/yellow ochre I used for the background forest glow.. I was hoping for a mildly psychedelic feel with it and was pretty happy with how that turned out!
Erin, not sure if this is intended to reach psychedelic feel but it works. I mean the equal distance between trees, similar thickness but trees actually growing at the different distances from the viewer. Normally artists try to break the pattern, but in this case it gives such an unusual effect.
