Jayde's Lights

This is based on a picture that my partner's niece had taken working on the oil rigs out in Alberta. I think it was my third attempt at Northern Lights and I still feel like I'm not really doing them justice.. for some reason they all come out looking a bit blocky or squareish.. The foreground scene was actually just a tiny bit in the left hand corner of the original picture, the bulk of it was a very close up pontoon that I didn't want to include. But I think its the important parts of the moment. I plan to give it to her for her birthday, I hope when she sees it she says right away, "Oh yeah I remember that night."!
