Today I had time to work on my Alexander skills and decided on this painting by Bill. The bright yellow in the clouds totally appealed to me and I started. Finally again mountains and a classic scene.I didn't use Bob Ross brushes, only old equipment except the knife and I wanted to make it a little softer as the original in the video.The old master explains a lot about the way of his color mixing , the mighty strokes , motivation and also about the period until he had found the perfect color consistency. I hope Bill would like it and you like it too. So here it is, my version of Mountain Lake and Island.As always totally fresh from 30 minutes ago.
Canvas, 2 x white Gesso , grinded 240/400, liquid white , 24 x 30 cm ( 9,45 x 11,80 inch ) Time 3 Hours
