The Kea is a large parrot now almost exclusively ranging from lowland river valleys and coastal forests and alpine regions in the South Island of NZ. One of our offspring and his family spent a few weeks there this winter and 1 of the grandsons became captivated by them during their travels so I painted 1 for him for a Christmas present. The photo only shows the more spectacular underside; the colours from the top are mostly olive brown to grey.
