Good Morning cold, First of all Good work and yes, I often use very simple flat bristle brushes that you can buy for 1โ‚ฌ, for my BA paintings. They work great for me๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช

Nice job Cold. I am experimenting with all sorts of brushes, even some of my old watercolor brushes. One of my favorites for trees and grass are Dick Blick mural brushes flat and round size 30. Their filbert isn't bad either for making those arching leaves Bob does with the oval brush. I think the bottom line is this, try whatever you have and see what you can do with it. Smaller brushes seem to give more control.

Nice compo Cold! I certainly do. At the beginning, I was using almost only the round and half round brush. Now, I use mostly the 1โ€ because of its versatility. But all the brushes are great to give a different foliage outcome. Try to get familiar with all of them. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Very nice painting!
