Another bad building

Cool work. I have little experience painting buildings. My first approach would be how can I imitate masonry or stones, especially for palaces or castles👍🏼🇩🇪

Your building is not bad at all, it is just not developed at its full potential! 😉 Instead of drawing outlines that give more of that "cartoon" look, thing shadow vs. lighting and, like Dirk said, texture. I always go online to look at pictures of what I want to paint (except if I follow a tutorial). In order to see the different elements constituting the castle, I would use different shades of be beige/light brown you have on there (minimum of 3 different shades of brown... a mid-tone, a shadow color and a highlight one). You simply shape your building that way.
