Autumn Reflections

This was my first original painting from life. My biggest struggle was getting my darks dark enough. The problem was too much liquid white at the start. This makes every subsequent layer difficult, as the paint just doesn’t want to stick. Still, I was able to utilize the things I’ve learned painting from Bob Ross tutorials to mix colors and overcome the challenges created by the mud I was mixing. I thought the end result was halfway decent.
