I captured the sunrise yesterday over a pasture in Central Iowa. The sky was full of color, while the far off trees were still very dark, from getting no sunlight. The snow has been gone for a while and all land is brown. There were a few stubbles here or there otherwise the ground has been matted from the winters snow. I have only painted a few Ross paintings, so this is my first on my own, I love where i live and I wanted to share with you, I hope you enjoy, 12×24
Hi Brian and welcome to TIB, i love this painting and the lone tree really takes the eye and draws you in. Interestingly i just posted a painting called "Barn find" which relates in some small way to Iowa....coincidence indeed!
Lovely and 👍👍 for Iowa 😉
Woooooooow! Look at that sky!!!! Incredibly well executed! Great job Brian!
Thank you Ninoum , got to be honest here. I just started painting, my grandma was a painter. I dove into this hard, at first I wanted to paint everything ross did, than I looked at the land where I live, and after that I found internet inspiration . I'm so confused as to what approach I wanna take..
For some who just started, it’s incredible Brian!!! I didn’t event know. I really thought you have been into painting for some time. 😊
Don’t limit yourself… do both. You will learn so much from Bob. It will help you make outstanding original creations!
