My first time ever painting a picture so I started with the grandeur of summer. I see a lot of mistakes but I'm happy overall with my first time ever painting anything. This was a lot of fun to do

Thanks. I had lots of fun painting the mountains. I would like to paint more of the mountain type episodes if you have any recommendations?
Overall, it took 6 hours to paint and I was getting progressively more drunk as the evening wore on and it probably shows towards the end of my painting :D
The 2 biggest challenges I found were mixing the right quantity of colours to get the shade I wanted and the brush strokes for the leaves/trees.
what brush did you use for your leaves?....i'm going to guess a filbert?...try using one corner of a fan brush with a stabbing/ tapping action...Oh and keep the beers for celebrating your success!
