This was a lot of fun to do and I was able to use many of Bob’s techniques. I’m thinking of doing it again without watching the video and making it more my own piece. I painted this in water-mixable oils.

I really like the light in this, great control of value which gives more power to it. I would perhaps add some lighter shades to the treetops directly under the sun to show the light travelling through them, so maybe try that in your next version?
