This was painted from a photo that took my fancy. I enjoyed painting the foreground trees particularly. I have a vision impairment and entered this in a competition for vision impaired artists to display in a calendar for 2025 and was one of the lucky winners. I have never entered my paintings in anything before so this was very uplifting. Because of my vision problems I have to work very slowly and each piece takes a long time but that doesn't bother me. Each piece is a project. I used water-soluble oils.
