This is a copy of a painting by Bill Vrscak called 'Woodland Autumn'. I am experimenting with watercolours and thought I would give this a go and nut out how he did it. It is hard for me to let go of realism which is mostly how I have painted lately with oils and acrylics but I am enjoying the challenge. Also, this is easier on my eyesight which is poor.
