Kind of rough overall. I was still trying to get the hang of making distant trees and nearer pines with a fan brush. And, once again, those flat tree leaves I'm becoming known for. 🙂
I thought I had redeemed myself with those bushes at the bottom. Then, I realized, unless there are forest gnomes who come out at night to trim bushes, shrubs probably aren't going to look that neat and tidy. Oh well. On to the next one.
11X14 canvas; water-mixable oil paint
Thank you for the welcome, Tel. This is not a Bob Ross painting. Every time I try to do one of his, I take a left turn somewhere (otherwise known as an 'Oops') and end up creating something different.
I'm curious. What made you switch from regular oils to water-mixable oils?
I was having headaches and dizzy spells which i suspected was from fumes as i have to work in a non ventilated area, this proved NOT to be the cause but i continued to use WMOs going forward
That's what I suspected (the fumes). I work in the basement. And while I can open a window, I know from my woodworking projects, the fumes end up making their way upstairs.
