No. 24

12x16 black canvas. Watched Bob do 4-5 episodes of him working with a black canvas before doing this.

Horizontal strip of crimson in the center but that ended up being sacrificed later on. The rest of the canvas has phthalo blue with Prussian blue in the corners.

From there, I just dropped in a sky and background trees and kept going wherever the scene took me.

Once again, I only dirtied a couple one-inch brushes, a fan brush, and a knife.

Thought I had messed up on the shadows in the water but I kept blending and adding a little blue, and it turned out well.

Overall, I like this one. I'm getting more confident in firing stuff onto the canvas and working with whatever happens.
