New to the site, and painting in general, just waiting for all my bits and pieces to arrive so I can begin painting.
In order to look at what paintings to start with, I thought I'd try the search by colour feature on the main website, but I'm not sure whether it's working correctly, or my expectations are off from what it's doing.
I think the easiest thing will be an example. If I do the following:
- Go to the colour search
- Select
Van Dyke Brown, Prussian Blue, and Titanium White, then search.
- Check that you get
Shades of Grey and Winter Mist
- Go back to the colour selection and add literally any other colour (say
Alizarin Crimson), then do the search again
- This time you'll just get
Snow Fall returned.
I would have expected to have got that, plus the original two, because, due to the colour selection made, those original two paintings are still valid paintings for that selection.
Are my expectations wrong? Or is this a bug?
