Who are you?
I'm Felix and I'm the creator of TwoInchBrush.com.
I'm 26 years old and living in Vienna, Austria where I'm working as a software developer by day. In my free time I'm running this website, playing disc golf or doing stuff with my dog Lotta.

When did you start painting?
I started painting at the end of 2015 after seeing the Bob Ross marathon on twitch.tv.

What medium do you use?
Since then I'm painting in oils and watercolors and since a short time I'm drawing in ink.

Favorite thing to paint/draw
I love doing mountains and buildings!

Hi Felix! On my end, I am from Canada and am currently in the final year of obtaining my PhD in clinical psychology. At the moment, I am wrapping up my clinical residency. I started painting last year because it always interested me and it seemed like a nice hobby/distress tolerance activity to add to my week and growing list of hobbies. It's been wonderful so far. I've had a lot of clients and patients over the years tell me how much painting has been helpful to them and I am currently experiencing that first hand. Painting has absolutely been an interesting adventure. Much like Bob said a few times in his show, my perception of the world has changed since I started. I'm now able to "see" nature through different eyes. I can see how trees are shaped, highlights, shadows, etc. I'm always thinking to myself, "wow, how could I paint this scene?" The same thing happened to me when I first started composing music.

lightsnow learning to 'see' is absolutely a thing when starting to paint! You might wanna create your own introduction thread too, I'm sure a lot of people are going to ask you about that music of yours too 😊
