I was taking a quick break between a couple (somewhat stressful) meetings at work today, and decided to try to find something quick that was art related to watch on YouTube. I came across this and thought I would share, I found it to be quite interesting. It is in Spanish with English subtitles and is titled, "You won't look at painting the same way after watching this video." Hope you all enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpwY9Jvv3SQ
Interesting YouTube video about art interpretation
Interesting video. I have to say I didn’t see fragility, hopeless, and bizarrely eroticism in the bread. I just saw...bread. I don’t know how bread can look erotic but that was his interpretation. I do enjoy how several people can look at the same painting and take away completely different meanings.
Also did anyone else get hungry watching this? Especially from that first bread painting. It looked delicious!
I should not have watched this right before my breakfast!
doggymommee8301 I watched this video few days ago, You tube suggested me this. I liked it a lot. I did not see all the things narrator mentioned though. Second painting in contrast with the first one was sad. I thought about poor people and it was sadness there for me. I read one detective story recently about Lawyer who abandoned big firm and became public lawyer for poor. Thus that bread resonated with me through this book.
He touched indeed many aspects of compositional choices to convey the message by the artist to the viewer. I liked that video a lot.
Thank you for sharing!
@Voy Kay#364 Yep.
Sunnylady Sounds intriguing, I will have to add it to my read list. Currently working on a Edgar Allen Poe collection of works, so I will have to add this to my "next in line list". Thanks Sunnylady!
