I know that this question is more of a preference sort, but, I’m still looking for input. I know that all of Bobs episodes are available right now through IMDB as well as on YouTube. But, for how long?

I was considering purchasing them as I worked my way through watching them, but do I want to purchase the digital or the dvd? Amazon prime has them available for purchase, each season at $10. The dvds as you know are $40 per season. Amazon states that at any time they can remove content without the buyers knowledge. Then there is the question of how long are dvd players going to be around?

Any input would be great!! Like I said, I know that this is going to be more of a personal preference, but input is always nice.

Thank you in advance!!

I watch them on Daily Motion. You seem to be making a good start and you will learn something new with every painting. There's a lot of advice to be had here from other members. Here's one tip to get you started. Keep your waterlines as horizontal as possible even if your land is at an angle, and keep them thin, if they are too thick keep rubbing them with the knife and they will disappear. Good luck.

Well, after much going back and forth I decided on getting the dvds. While the digital option would be by far the best, the “purchasing” of them does not mean that I own a copy of them, I merely purchased the luxury of watching them, that was all.

i don’t understand why I can’t post a image here. I have followed the instructions but it’s still not posting for me.

this way……I can watch them forever.

I've added the pic for you

If you must have something BRI, be it books or whatever, look on eBay or similar (Amazon Marketplace, e.g.) for gently used or unused items. That way BRI doesn't get another royalty for the sale. In effect, it cuts their profits by half.

Funny you say that Ian.. I just got a couple of DVDs myself off Ebay. I bought all of BRs guidebooks in a massive set last year the same way.

@wybnormal You may even have given me the idea! But I do source a lot of stuff off eBay, not just art supplies. It's always better to buy used or from small-scale makers. Good for the planet, and good for keeping money in regular people's hands. And usually good for your wallet, too.

Well, no one carries all the dvds except BRI. I have bought quite a few of the books from eBay. I knew it would not be among the popular post, but it is what it is. I’m just happy I was able to get them while they were on sale.

@JosephDurham Buying through eBay can be a long game, as the books/DVDs may only appear sporadically. My eBay hobby is vintage clothing, as I prefer wider lapels and ties. Most of what is on offer is obviously worn, hideous (so much polyester!), or the right size but wrong length. So I check back every so many weeks to see what's new that has cropped up since my last login.

I specialize.. vintage Hawaiian shirts 🙂 I'm up to about 30 right now. And I'm fairly picky. Same for ties.. about 60 ties which is a shame because I rarely wear them now.
