I need the assistance of my 2" brush friends. I finally bought some con-tact paper a couple weeks ago. I've used it several times since. My issue is it doesn't stick very well to my white canvases. The black ones I buy (Phoenix Brand) the stuff sticks like a charm. I've even white gessoed my one canvas last night and still issues. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I'm all ears. Thanks!

Mgiese84 I have a lot of trouble with contact paper as well. Not sure if this is useful to you, but I now use extra-wide blue painter's tape. I lay down overlapping strips to cover an 18x24 cutting surface. Then I draw & cut out my stencil, peel it off the cutting surface and apply it to the canvas on the easel. I find the blue tape sticks way better. The only trick is peeling it off the cutting surface as one complete piece without letting it separate back into strips.

    Painters Tape Stencil

dracula Thank you for the suggestion. I always have blue painters tape laying around. The last one I did, with the Iowa cutout, I used packaging tape around the outside. That worked decent, but had to be careful in cutout section. And definitely need to be careful pulling it off. Thanks again.
