Hi All, i wanna start on my 3th painting tomorrow, any suggestions for a beginner? (Already made Grandeur of summer and Grey winter) I have a white canvas and a big box of oil paint so i have/can make a lot of colors.
The one I've found to be the easiest is "Golden Rays of Sunshine" Limited colors needed but you will need liquid clear for this project. It makes a gorgeous painting and is so easy! I loved it so much I painted it 4 times!
Dellajoy Thank you for the suggestion i just watched the episode and i think i will try this one soon. already have the liquid clear. don't have a black canvas yet.
I make my own black canvases. I just take a regular canvas and cover it with either black gesso or black acrylic paint. Let the gesso dry before going further though.
You can try ocean sunrise if you would like to paint a seascape. It's quite easy and beginner friendly. Or you can read this article https://blog.twoinchbrush.com/article/the-5-easiest-bob-ross-paintings-for-beginners/ When I started painting I first choose the paintings that only had trees and water, without mountains or hills or too complicated sky. That way I could concentrate on just those elements and the painting sessions weren't too long. Once I felt comfortable painting trees and water I started with hills and mountains and seascapes.
I found Winter Mountain was an easy one and beginner friendly. Here is the link: https://www.twoinchbrush.com/painting/winter-mountain Good practice for painting trees. Have fun!
