I think the videos are available directly on YouTube, even in the UK. They only disabled the option to view them on external sites. At least it was like that a while ago.

Felix - Hi Felix, I did try a couple of weeks ago but had no luck. I just tried again now and spent over 40 minutes trying to find Series 23 episode 12 (I think) but could not find it anywhere. I don't mind carrying on without the tutorials if you don't think other people could be led astray searching for specific tabs.

@Colin Hudson#1766 Hie thee hence and get thee a VPN. How else do you think I get the BBC? 😁

(One of these days I'm going to get a bill for 20 years of back licences.)

Plex haș a live streaming channel of just DR shows, one right after another. I have them running during the workday for background noise and the occasional "distraction" in a boring meeting 😃 I'll agree that Bill Alexander is harder to find shows on but I have bought two of his books via used book stores a few videos from their site. The only artist harder to find is Wyland. He had a show on PBS and sold DVDs but now the early DVDs are not available and there are zero shows on Youtube that I have been able to find. Good thing I bought DVDs a few years ago. I find a few older DVDs that are NOS on some mom and pop at supply shops or Ebay. I talked to the Wyland store in 2019 and they were trying to convince him to allow downloads and streaming but they said he was pretty anti-tech. I guess they never convinced him :/

I'd like to see a tag option for "white canvas", "black canvas", or "pre-painted gesso scenery".

wybnormal I have downloaded and joined Plex.tv but cannot find any Bob Ross material at all. How can I find it please?
Do you have a url I can use? Thanks

I'd suggest adding meadow or grassland to the landscape section.

wybnormal At least I thought I could. Keep getting an error message "Playback error - could not tune channel". Looks like it is my location that is stopping me. Ah well, back to the drawing board...

wybnormal As someone who frequently goes abroad for long spells, a VPN is indispensable for viewing region-locked media. I can particularly recommend Cactus VPN. Very effective, and they are very responsive to inquiries.

            What about tag 'glacier'?

Ian_Adkins wybnormal I use Norton 360 vpn, for what it is worth, but even using that I still cannot get through to the BR shows. Any hints or url's you can share please? I know I will hjave to redo all the tagging I have done to make it accurate but that will not be a problem.

@Colin Hudson#1872 I'm trying to remember, but there's something called an IPv_6 leak if you're on a Windows 10 machine, resulting from some module or registry setting you can toggle off, which solves a number of problems (Google "ip leak"). There's also a different non-VPN setting you can try in Cactus VPN. I had three different VPN browser extensions besides Cactus. Some worked with one service, others didn't. I had to experiment to see what worked with what.

There was a painting in which Bob used contact paper, but it was not in the typical oval shape. So maybe a adding something like contact paper oval and contact paper non oval. Also there are two that are double oval paintings so a contact paper double oval could be used. Several paintings also use the reaction of liquid clear and paint thinner. Not sure what that could be called. Also some paintings Bob did an underpainting of white, black, or gray gesso. Not sure if you included painting surface and size. For example one time Bob painted on a 12 x 24 horizontal canvas. Bob also painted on a piece of wood one time. Several guest painters used a Masonite(?) board.

need a tag for the ones where he uses a black gesso canvas, another tag for the ones with the peel away paper.

After a year of gathering suggestions, we have now added content tags for all Bob Ross paintings!
You can try our new search function here: https://www.twoinchbrush.com/contentsearch

All tags have been added by community members. If there is a mistake you can suggest changes on the paintings detail page (in case you haven't already suggested tags for this painting before)

As always, I'm happy about any and all feedback!
