    Lilikins I was sooo bummed, I was supposed to host a class at the michigan parks but covid shut it down. Im a Certified instructor and would have loved to have done it. I dont thin ill be able to just this year also, but will participate and get my cool medal!

    I am curious who else might have signed up for this, and if they have gotten any tracking information or anything on the bib and metal? I know it's like a month out, but I have started walking (with a very small amount of jog added in) each night, so I am looking forward to getting my BR swag.

    On the 15th I got an email saying that they are in the process of shipping out the packets and everyone should be receiving them in the next 2 weeks or so. Sorry work has been crazy so I didn’t see this sooner! Last year I got mine about 1 week after the email was sent. I live in Michigan so I will probably get mine first. I’ll let you all know when it arrives!

        ....running? My event will be more like “walk for the trees” 😂

        Good for you though! I wish I was the kind of person that was good at or enjoyed running but sadly my body and mind despise it. My goal is just to get off the couch for fresh air. We’ve been pushing crazy overtime at work so I haven’t had much energy to paint or go outside. This will be a nice motivational push to get out!

            My goal pace was 5 min per km, so I tried to finish the whole run in just under 25 min.
            I've chosen my route so that the last km went right through the Schönbrunn Palace Garden and finishes precisely between the palace and the 'Gloriette' on top of the hill, overlooking the city.

            Worked out pretty well. But the next time I'm setting such a pace I think I'll train a little to prepare for it. I'll definitely feel that run tomorrow...
