Hi!
I watched some of Bob's Videos but I have never painted before and i just ordered some equipment.
I want to start with some really easy Bob ross painting which only uses the colours from the Bob Ross set. Can you give me some recommendations?

Can I just continue painting some days later without any problems?

What do I do if I make a mistake? Is it best to dab with a paper towel?

Tanks in advance

I think the best words of wisdom will be - Do not start at season 1 at all.
It is the most complex to follow. Starting season 3-4 up to 6-8 Bob develops his style and explains (in my personal opinion) a bit better than in the later seasons.
Genreally oil paint will allow you to continue next couple days without issues. In 3-5 days some colors start drying out.
If you did mistake, just go ahead it will be messy and this is a part of the process.

Also there is a 1 hour video from Bob somewhere on youtube and not part of the seasons. Also you can check a
Paint Like Bob Ross with Nicholas Hankins and see if that is more clear to you than original Bob Ross, coz those videos are filmed in 2022-2023 and all long and very explanative. Nick was selected to continue Bob Ross by the company and they filmed quite few episodes in a very good video and sound quality and without the rush of 26 minutes.

So in short open your heart, invite mistakes to happen and it will allow you to paint with a lot of pleasure from the process.
