I started with a plexiglass palette which I can heartily reject as a viable palette for painting. Too Flexi.. too soft. I've been covering it with palette paper which I tape down and then tear off when I'm done. Now I have a glass cutting board coming today which is roughly 12x14 for 10 USD. Its tempered glass and fairly thick. I will be spraying the back of it in grey primer to get a truer view of my colours as I mix things up. I might try MazArt's palette template before I spray the paint and see how I like that. I have high hopes for this since being glass, I can easily scrape off any dried paint or waste and not worry about dinging the surface like the acrylic board.
