First 18x24, this was definitely a challenge, but I am super happy with the feeling I get when I turn the corner and see it across the room.
I re-did the sky, mountains, and first 2 foothills like 3 times before it felt right, and even now I wish I left more misty area of the mountains exposed in the center.
I waited like 2 weeks before I came back to it and I did the rest in a single sitting. Once I had the basic pieces in place I really had fun adding details and moving the water around.
Pro tip! In between sittings re-doing the top half, I left a bunch of paint out for a day or two and wow, it finally achieved the firm, dry texture of Bob's paint. I had way more success 'breaking' the paint in the mountains. Now I prepare in advance spreading my titanium white on cardboard, then leaving it there for a day before I paint.
