Evening Seascape

HLarson3 12 May 2021

This one was a STRUGGLE for me. So much fan brush work here...perhaps my weakest brush. Really had a tough time getting the amount of color right on the canvas prep, and I was especially disappointed in running out of space to “curve” the wave action upward instead of straight across the canvas.

Part of learning is realizing one has a lot more to learn. This was one of those days. But this was my first painting done with my wife and it was memorable for both of us. We will try again.

Well as Bob says fanbrush isn't the easiest brush to master, but it pays off to make friends with it 😉 I like the yellowish glow of the main wave.
