I was intriged by the half-oval challenge so had to try this one.
Canvas used was a budget 12"x16". Easiest part were the bushes and evergreens, toughest to keep that oval sticking!
Thanks Alex!
This is indeed a VERY fast one to do, little over one hour and if I hadn't messed up my hand and clothes with some yellow ochre, it would have been under one hour! š
It surprised me enormously that Bob never paid attention to the left side. It could have used some land there right underneath the hills.
One bleeder though, due to budget contact paper( rubbish!!), but will work that away after the paint has dried!
Thanks for cheering and till next one!
Looks good. And definitely something a little different
Voy Kay - It's funny you mentioned that spot under the hills needing land. I was thinking the same thing. But then I thought it was supposed to be a sheen of light on the water. Either way, it's still a nice scene.
Nicely done, Iād never seen this painting before. It is very eye catching and your bush and tree work is great!
Clouds are beautiful Voy! This angle of perspective is great! Bushes and evergreens are incredible!
I really like the bushes here Voy !

I like this. It shows me I don't have to paint a ton of stuff on a canvas to have a nice scene. Hopefully, I can remember that in the future. Very good painting.
