I wish I had used less purple but enjoyed the experience. Every painting is a lesson!

Rather of not you meant to use so much purple it sure did come out looking nice. I think the violet and lavender tones compliment the warm colors of your sky beautifully as well as being a good contrast to the greens in the foreground. Also has a nice feel of distance.
