I wish I'd made the sky less blue...or maybe the water a little more blue. Maybe I could carefully add some pale gray clouds?
I followed the advice I read somewhere about getting snow to break on mountains: in addition to scraping off as much paint as possible with the palette knife and brushing the remainder down from the outline, take a paper towel (or something) and wipe off the paint. This really does make it easier to apply snow. I did not add shadows because it looked to me as if the mountain color was just fine. Consequently, the texture of the canvas -- sort of a rough weave -- shows through.
Love your mountains. And the blue sky adds a nice touch of color. I don't think you need any more clouds.
