Painting # 80. I prepped the background with black and white gesso using an old liner brush and a natural sponge. I then let that dry and added oils afterwards. I am continuing with my use of the half inch round brush to make bush and tree highlights, which has been working quite well. It's a nice little brush. This was the first time I painted on an oval canvas and took around 2 hours to complete. The initial gesso background took perhaps 45 minutes sitting at my kitchen table.

I like how waterfall stands out to become focal point in the painting and how the far forest creates the depth!
